SONO Healthcare is a division of Advanced Ultrasound Solutions, Inc. We are Ultrasound Specialists and Healthcare Industry Professionals.

Our Story

Like many companies, SONO was founded as a unique solution to a particular problem.

Having been in the Ultrasound industry since 1998, our team had identified a pattern among doctors, sonographers, and their machines.

Unbeknownst to them, the disinfectant supplies they were using had been damaging their medical equipment and exam tables. This not only posed a liability for the institutions using such machinery, but more importantly, it placed the patient at risk.

Their disinfectant products contained solvents such as alcohol, which not only destroyed pathogens on the surface of the equipment, but even the equipment itself. After all, solvents dissolve things. This translated to greater profits for the medical device manufacturers due to the increased turnover of each machine.

Our founders convened and began researching what they could do to help.

After developing a functional disinfectant wipe, they took it a step further and pioneered a rigorous process for testing the material compatibility of their solution.

It worked.

Since then, SONO Wipes have become the de-facto standard for ultrasound equipment and all medical devices after proving their effectiveness year-after-year.

Medical facilities, pregnancy centers, and other medical professionals now not only trust and depend on SONO Wipes to maintain the integrity of their equipment, but also garner the confidence and comfort of their patients.

Today they are used extensively in a wide variety of applications, from the travel industry to the automotive, and everything in between.

SONO has invested a considerable amount of time, energy, and resources into ensuring that we are delivering a product made entirely in the USA that is not only effective for the medical community, but the global community.
